When we posted the photo of Mr. B we thought he would get a lot of attention, but we never could have predicted the amazing and overwhelming response! Mr. B is well on his way to finding his perfect fur-ever home, but there are still plenty of animals at the shelter that need our help. Purchasing a shirt supports our lifesaving mission and allows us to help even more animals like Mr. B.

About Morris Animal Refuge!
Elizabeth Morris began rescuing animals in her own home as early as 1858. In 1874 she officially founded Morris Animal Refuge, America’s First Animal Shelter. We are committed to adoption, education and high-quality care, and as an open admission shelter, we have never turned an animal away.
As the only privately funded open admission shelter in Philadelphia, Morris Animal Refuge provides care for a wide range of animals, from those ready for placement in a new home to those exhibiting severe behavioral, medical, or aggression issues that aren’t able to immediately be placed. While we are dedicated to our mission of never turning an animal away, we are also committed to reducing unnecessary euthanasia and ensuring that every animal that enters our care is given a chance at a loving home. Our hard work has paid off - and today we are happy to report that we have a 98% Save Rate!
Purchasing an item from this campaign helps us to continue the work we do to help Philadelphia's homeless animals.
